Health Care Regulation is responsible for the regulatory oversight of health care facilities, licensed chemical dependency counselors, and licensed sex offender treatment providers to protect consumer and patient health and safety by ensuring compliance with state laws and rules.

Residential Care Child Regulation staff process applications, issue permits, conduct inspections and investigations, submit regulatory enforcement referrals to Child Care Facility Enforcement, and conduct other regulatory activities related to child-placing agencies and general residential operations.
