The nursing facility COVID-19 Response Emergency Rule expired on July 26, 2022. However, in accordance with CMS and CDC, nursing facilities must continue to screen staff and visitors for COVID symptoms.

Emergency Rules for Home and Community Support Services Agencies Response to COVID-19 in 26 Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 558.960 expire on July 21 and will not be renewed.
