TX Health Steps program resources for dental providers.

Texas Health Steps focuses on the medical, dental, and case management services for ages birth through 20. THSteps is committed to recruiting and retaining qualified providers to assure that comprehensive preventive health, dental, and case management services are available.

The Minimum Data Set (MDS) is a standardized collection of demographic and clinical information that describes a person's overall condition. All licensed nursing facilities in Texas are required to submit MDS assessments for all residents admitted into their facility. The current version is MDS 3.0.

Medicaid home and community-based services provide opportunities for people to receive long-term services and supports in their own home or community, rather than in an institution or isolated setting.

Home Delivered Meals provides nutritious noontime meals delivered to people in their homes on a scheduled basis. Meals may also be delivered to a location other than an individual's home, provided the location is within the provider's service area and is approved by the case worker. Those eligible for HDM are aged 18 years or older. An interest list is maintained for people interested in applying for this program. This page contains information for HDM providers.
