The purpose of this communication is to notify you that Residential Child Care Regulation (RCCR) is changing the weight of 26 TAC §748.151(1), which requires a general residential operation to designate a full-time child-care administrator who is responsible for carrying out the responsibilities outlined in 26 TAC §748.535.

The public comment period is April 8 through May 9, 2022 for the proposed background check rules for Small Employer-Based Child Care Operations and Shelter Care Operations in Chapter 745, Subchapter F.

On March 27, 2022, CCR made changes to the Child Care Regulation Account provider portal. It is now compatible with Microsoft Edge.
