On Dec. 1, 2022, HHSC will launch the Day Activity Health Services (DAHS) Individualized Skills and Socialization License Application in the Texas Unified Licensure Information Portal (TULIP).

All providers interested in the new licensing process for the Day Activity Health Services Individualized Skills and Socialization program are invited to a one-hour webinar on Nov. 30.

HHSC publishes IL 2022-53, announcing the implementation of a new service: individualized skills and socialization. This new service will replace day habilitation in the Home and Community-based Services (HCS), Texas Home Living (TxHmL) and Deaf Blind with Multiple Disabilities (DBMD) programs.

IL 2022-52 is posted on the HHS site CLASS, DBMD, HCS, TxHml, STAR Kids, STAR+Plus HCBS, STAR+MDCP and CDS.

Beginning Nov. 1, waiver providers will be required to enter all critical incident reports into CIMS following your programs’ current reporting guidelines.

HHSC has updated the Approved Diagnostic Codes for Persons with Related Conditions effective Oct. 1, 2022 to Sept. 30, 2023.

HHSC will host the “CLASS and DBMD Program Updates Provider Webinar” on Sept. 19 and Oct. 18 for program providers.

HHSC is accepting comments on the renewal of the 1915(c) Deaf Blind with Multiple Disabilities Waiver.

IL 2022-46 is posted for FMSA, CFC, CLASS, DBMD, HCS, MDCP, PHC, TxHmL, CBA and CMPAS program providers.

FEI Systems will host provider demonstration webinars at 10 a.m. on Sept. 13 and Oct. 11.

On Monday, Aug. 29, FEI Systems will send a mass email to CIMS users, providing a user ID and temporary password.
