Texas Health and Human Services contracts with licensed agencies to provide personal assistance services to people who have physical disabilities who are mentally and emotionally competent and willing to supervise their attendant or have someone who can supervise the attendant for them. Information about Level of Need for ICFs

Documents must be submitted to the Health and Human Services Commission to support the Inventory for Client and Agency Planning ratings and increase in services and supports for a person in the Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with an Intellectual Disability or Related Conditions (ICF/IID) program or the Home and Community-based Services (HCS) program, and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) that warrants an increased level of need due to dangerous behavior.
