Home Delivered Meals provides nutritious noontime meals delivered to people in their homes on a scheduled basis. Meals may also be delivered to a location other than an individual's home, provided the location is within the provider's service area and is approved by the case worker. HHSC has posted the notice “Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Transition: You Must Take Action Now!” (PDF) for program providers, financial management services agencies (FMSAs) and Consumer Directed Services (CDS) employers to review.

Medicaid and CHIP Services (MCS) is hosting monthly meetings for Providers and Financial Management Services Agencies (FMSAs), who use the Long-term Care (LTC) Online Portal for the Home and Community-based Services (HCS) and Texas Home Living (TxHmL) waiver programs.

Program providers, financial management services agencies (FMSAs) and Consumer Directed Services (CDS) employers transitioning to the new state EVV vendor, HHAeXchange, are responsible for completing all required visit maintenance (including visit maintenance unlock requests) in their current EVV vendor system, DataLogic/Vesta or First Data/AuthentiCare.
