WIC Dietetic Internship

The Texas Women, Infants and Children Dietetic Internship is housed in the Texas Health and Human Services Commission's WIC program. The internship is designed to train qualified nutritionists employed within the Texas Health and Human Services Commission's WIC program or local Texas WIC agencies, to become registered dietitian nutritionists.

The application deadline is April 26, 2024 for the 2025 class. Transcripts for Spring semester courses are required by June 1st. The Dietetic Internship Centralized Application System is used for application processing. However, the internship doesn't participate in the DICAS match.

All applicants will be notified by July 5th of the application year as to whether or not they've been selected to participate in the internship for the upcoming year.
