The Long-term Services and Supports (LTSS) Worker Portal is part of the Balancing Incentive Program (BIP) initiative to help more people access long-term services and supports in community-based settings. The purpose of this training is to instruct you how to conduct the LTSS Screening Questionnaire, navigate the LTSS Worker Portal, and manage referrals.
The LTSS Screening Questionnaire and Worker Portal will make obtaining long-term services much easier for individuals across Texas. Staff from the Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS), the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC), and the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) will all use this new system in an integrated manner. DSHS may use the LTSS Worker Portal but has its own intake and associated process in a separate application that is integrated with the LTSS Worker Portal.
