Epilepsy Program Providers

The Epilepsy Program works with providers and clinics in Texas to ensure eligible Texas residents with epilepsy or seizure-like symptoms can get comprehensive outpatient services to prevent, detect and treat health problems.

Comprehensive outpatient care can include:

  • Diagnosis and treatment
  • Case management for ongoing care
  • Integration of personal, social and vocational support services

Health care providers play an essential role in recognizing, treating and managing epilepsy. This webpage informs them about the latest epilepsy treatment guidelines, seizure classifications, programs that address mental health problems, and how to help pediatric patients transition to adult care.
