2020 Notice To Provider Organizations
Provider Inquiry Forms are being accepted from December 1, 2019 – February 28, 2020. Please follow instructions on the Provider Inquiry Form linked below and submit the completed form to LPND@hhsc.state.tx.us by February 28, 2020. You may also contact the Local Mental Health Authority (LMHA) or a Local Behavioral Health Authority (LBHA) directly.
Providers who are interested in providing mental health services in one or more of the LMHA/LBHA service areas are directed to select the link of that local authority from the list of participating LMHAs/LBHAs. Note that this process is applicable only to provider organizations. Individual practitioners should contact local authorities directly to discuss opportunities for contracting.
Using the Provider Inquiry Form (PDF), potential provider organizations submit a description of their qualifications, including their experience as it relates to the same or similar services and populations defined in the Texas Resilience and Recovery Levels of Care. Information submitted by interested providers will be posted on this website.
Provider organizations currently contracting with LifePath Systems or North Texas Behavioral Health Authority don't need to submit a Provider Inquiry Form through the Local Planning and Network Development process to maintain existing contracts. However, they can choose to submit a form to express interest in contracting for additional services, capacity or geographic locations. This process does not replace policies and procedures outlined in provider contracts with LifePath Systems or NTBHA, including those relating to contract renewal. Contact them if you need clarification on maintenance of an existing contract.
Submitting Completed Provider Inquiry Forms
Submitting the Provider Inquiry Form indicates your interest in providing services for one or more local authorities.
Review the information about each local authority before completing the form. In making your selections, remember the local authorities you choose will be contacting you to schedule a follow-up teleconference. Narrowing your focus from the start can reduce the time and effort you and the local authorities need to invest later in the process. Do not check all LMHAs/LBHAs.
Applicants must be qualified, credentialed and capable of providing services according to the TRR requirements.
Information provided on this form will be posted to applicable HHSC Local Network Planning and Development web pages.
After posting, local authorities and other interested stakeholders, including the public, will get to review the information you provide on this form.
Completing this form doesn't in any way commit the local authority to procure your services. HHSC will have no role in arranging for your services to be procured by the local authority.
