Behavioral Health Provider Resources

Behavioral Health Services (BHS) offers guidance and resources to providers on grant requirements, performance measures reporting, contracting procedures, and other requirements.

Evidence-Based Practices and Resources

HHS contractors provide adult and children mental health and substance use programs and services based on best research, clinical knowledge, and what matters to people in managing their behavioral health. This approach is known as evidence-based and promising practices.

The Centralized Training Infrastructure for Evidence Based Practices (CTI-EBP) is a collaboration between HHSC and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio to support the statewide delivery of behavioral health services. CTI-EBP provides accessible, in-person and online learning opportunities to support behavioral health professionals in delivering care to adults, children and youth across Texas.

The SAMHSA Evidence-Based Practices Resource Center provides information and tools to incorporate evidence-based practices into communities and clinical settings.
