CMS Issues Additional Revisions to NF Surveyor Guidance, Effective March 24

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued QSO-25-12-NH (PDF). This memo provides additional revised nursing facility surveyor guidance to the revisions introduced by QSO-25-07-NH (PDF).

The memo announces revised guidance and associated training, which is available upon release of this memorandum for surveyors and providers.

Revised Survey Resources will be posted on March 24, 2025.

The memo includes an updated advance copy of the Critical Element Pathways and an updated advanced copy of Appendix PP.
