Public Comment Period for Proposed Rules Relating to Transfer of Certain Investigations to HHSC

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) has published proposed rule changes in the Texas Register:

  • Chapter 745, Licensing.
  • Chapter 748, Minimum Standards for General Residential Operations.
  • Chapter 749, Minimum Standards for Child-Placing Agencies.

The public comment period for this rule project is July 19 through Aug. 19, 2024. Go to the Texas Register to see the proposed changes.

Send your comments on the proposed rule changes by Aug. 19 to Child Care Regulation by one of two methods:
