Revised Quality Metrics and Performance Requirements for QIPP SFY 2025

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) posted proposed SFY 2025 QIPP quality metrics and associated performance requirements on Nov. 30, 2023. Public comments on proposed metrics were accepted until Dec. 15, 2023, and HHSC conducted an online public hearing on Dec. 13, 2023.

HHSC has revised the proposed quality metrics and performance requirements and posted an update on the QIPP Quality Incentive Payment Program for Nursing Homes webpage.

HHSC has also published the non-disbursed funds measure, related to 1 Tex. Admin. Code § 353.1302(g)(5)(B) under QIPP Year 8 (SFY25) Related Documents on the HHS Provider Finance Department QIPP webpage.

The revised metrics and performance requirements will also be submitted to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for federal approval pursuant to 42 C.F.R. 438.6(c).
