HHSC Adopts New Child Care Rules for Provisional Child-Care Administrator’s Licenses and Prohibited Actions

HHSC adopted rules in:

• Chapter 745, Licensing.
• Chapter 748, Minimum Standards for General Residential Operations.
• Chapter 749, Minimum Standards for Child-Placing Agencies.

The rules are effective Oct. 19, 2023.

CCR is updating the Chapter 748 and 749 minimum standards publication and will publish the updates by Oct. 19, 2023.
