A new version of the Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Home Health Care Services (HHCS) Bill Codes Table has posted. Reference the revision history for information about what was updated. The table is on the EVV 21st Century Cures Act webpage in Excel and PDF formats.
EVV will be implemented for Medicaid HHCS on Jan. 1, 2024, and program providers and financial management services agencies (FMSAs) can refer to the bill codes table to familiarize themselves with the specific HHCS billing code combinations that require the use of EVV.
Onboarding with HHAeXchange:
Program providers and FMSAs who will be new to EVV, due to the Cures Act Home Health Care Services implementation, must submit the HHAeXchange Provider Onboarding Form by Oct. 31. However, it is recommended to complete the form as soon as possible to be able to practice using EVV before the Jan. 1, 2024, implementation.
Visit the HHAeXchange Texas webpage to register for system user training, learn more about the HHAeXchange Portal and access other helpful resources.
HHSC will continue to share updates throughout the implementation. Notices related to the Cures Act HHCS implementation will start with “Cures Act Home Health Care Services” or “Cures Act HHCS.”
