This a reminder that participation in the Quality of Care and Resident Satisfaction study is required for assisted living facility providers. University of Texas data collectors will be calling selected facilities to schedule a visit and informing site administrators what to prepare for when they visit.
An ALF must allow the UT representative entrance to the facility and must cooperate with data collection. The representative will show proper identification and will provide the facility with a letter explaining how the study will be conducted.
HHSC has contracted with The University of Texas at Austin School of Nursing to conduct a study to evaluate the quality of life and quality of care in ALFs. This study was mandated by the 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021.
