Emergency Rules Related to Governor’s Proclamation Declaring Disaster Extended through January 8, 2022

The Texas Health and Human Services Commission has extended the emergency rules (PDF) relating to Governor Abbott’s disaster proclamation issued May 31.

Please continue to follow Updated Guidance on the Governor’s Disaster Proclamation, as applicable.

These emergency rules became effective on July 13, 2021. The extension makes the emergency rules effective through January 8, 2022. There are no changes to the content of the emergency rules.
