Public Comment Period for Proposed Rules Regarding Alternative Administrator Licenses for Military Members, Spouses, and Veterans

The Texas Department of Health and Human Services has proposed rule changes to implement House Bill 139, 87th Legislature, Regular Session, 2021. The proposed changes will amend the current rules regarding a military member, spouse, or veteran that applies for an administrator's license for a general residential operation, child-placing agency, or both.

The public comment period for the proposed rule changes will run from Oct. 29 through Dec. 6, 2021.
