HHSC has published IL 2021-43. This information letter provides notice that the emergency amendment to Title 40, Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Section 30.14(e), permitting face-to-face reassessments to be conducted as a telemedicine medical service for recertification of hospice services, expires on Nov. 9, 2021. This flexibility, which was outlined in IL 20-37, will no longer be permitted once the emergency rule expires.
