World AIDS Day, observed on Dec. 1 every year, provides an opportunity to unite in the fight against HIV, show support for people living with HIV and remember those who have died from an HIV-related illness.
The Department of State Health Services HIV-AIDS and the Workplace webpage provides information and a video about workplace considerations, how HIV is and isn’t spread and other topics, including how to prevent HIV infection in the workplace.
DSHS works with communities, partners and health care providers across Texas to raise awareness and promote testing, prevention and treatment for HIV.
