SASH provides inpatient psychiatric care for Texans. The hospital has openings for registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, direct care staff, custodians and food service workers. Qualified RNs and LVNs could receive $5,000 and $3,500 sign-on bonuses, respectively. Qualified applicants for Psychiatric Nursing Assistant positions could be offered a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

“Coming to work here means you get great benefits while also getting the benefit of helping someone else,” said San Antonio State Hospital Superintendent Robert Arizpe. “Working at SASH allows you to find purpose in your work and change the lives of the people around you.”

Qualified candidates may receive conditional job offers at the job fair. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, face masks and social distancing will be required at the event, and staff will adhere to CDC safety guidelines.
