Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center Hosts Job Fair

Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center has more than 100 vacant positions for direct care staff, registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, and food service workers. The center provides residential care for Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

“We’re searching for compassionate and caring people who are looking for a rewarding career,” said Corpus Christi State Supported Living Center Director Melissa Gongaware. “You have the chance to positively impact someone’s life and they will often impact yours.”

Face masks and social distancing will be required at the event. Staff will also be adhering to CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Texas Health and Human Services, which operates 13 state supported living centers, offers many benefits to employees including health and dental insurance, career advancement opportunities, paid training, paid vacation and sick leave. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check to be considered for employment.
