AUSTIN – The Denton State Supported Living Center is hosting an express hire event on Thursday, July 22, to find and hire qualified candidates for more than 100 open positions. Qualified candidates may be offered jobs on the spot.
The center provides residential care for Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities. There are openings for registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, direct support professionals, food service workers and other positions.
“We are looking for compassionate people who want a rewarding career in caring for others,” said Denton State Supported Living Center Director Nancy Condon. “The work you do at Denton SSLC could change someone’s life, as well as yours.”
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, face masks and social distancing will be required at the event and there will be health screenings. Staff will also adhere to CDC safety guidelines.
