AUSTIN – The San Antonio State Supported Living Center is hosting an on-site express hiring event on Tuesday, April 13. The center provides residential care for Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
“Working with us will give dedicated people a chance to have a career making a difference in the lives of those who need it,” said San Antonio SSLC Director Ralph Henry. “We’re looking for good people who want to advance professionally and we’ll give them the chance to move up to management and leadership positions.”
There are openings for registered nurses, licensed vocational nurses, direct support professionals, food service staff and maintenance workers. There will be an opportunity for on the spot job offers at the express hiring event, but applicants will need to bring I-9 acceptable documents to be eligible.

Face masks and social distancing will be required at the event. Staff will also be adhering to the CDC guidelines to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
