Director of Communications, Christine Mann

Christine Mann is director of communications for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. She oversees the HHSC Office of Communications, which includes the agency’s press office, social media, web, video, translations, editorial, graphics and outreach units.

Mann previously served as deputy communications director and as interim communications director. She has over 25 years of experience in media relations, journalism and communications in state government and nonprofits.

Before joining HHSC, Mann served as a press officer for the Texas Department of State Health Services and held communications director positions for the Texas Cable Association and Texas Alliance for Life.

She also spent nine years in Connecticut working in various communications roles for the governor and state lawmakers.
