Deputy Chief Information Officer of Security, Anil Koindala

Anil Koindala is the deputy chief information officer of Security and chief information security officer for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. He leads security operations, policies, risk management, and compliance.

With over 15 years of experience in information technology (IT) risk assessment, leadership and advisory roles, Koindala has safeguarded critical digital infrastructures in major telecommunications firms and served as chief information security officer for Tarrant County, the Texas Workforce Commission, and the Railroad Commission of Texas.

He holds a master’s degree in engineering from Mysore University, India, and multiple industry certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional, Certified Chief Information Security Officer, Certified Information Systems Auditor, and Fellow of Information Privacy.
