Deputy Executive Commissioner, Community Services, Haley Turner

Haley Turner is the deputy executive commissioner for Community Services at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. She oversees programs and services for people with disabilities, special health care needs, and older adults.

Turner joined HHSC in 2016, most recently serving as the associate commissioner for IDD Services, where she oversaw policy and program support for the 39 local intellectual and developmental disability authorities.

Before joining HHSC, she served as the director of IDD Services for Austin Travis County Integral Care.

Turner has a Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and a bachelor's degree from Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama.
