The subcommittee may take action on any agenda item. Items not listed on the agenda but within the purview of the subcommittee’s charge may be discussed.

Public comment: Members of the public who would like to provide public comment on an agenda item may choose from the following options:
- Written comments: Members of the public may provide written public comments by sending a PDF document to OPP_SMMCAC@hhsc.state.tx.us no later than 5:00 p.m. on February 10, 2025. Include your name and whether you are providing comments on behalf of an organization or as a private citizen. Written comments are limited to three pages (one side per page). Written comments will be provided to SMMCAC members. Do not include health or other confidential information. Staff will not read written comments aloud during the meeting.
- Oral comments provided virtually: Members of the public may pre-register to provide oral comments virtually by sending an email to OPP_SMMCAC@hhsc.state.tx.us no later than 5:00 p.m. on February 10, 2025. Include your name, whether you are providing comments on behalf of an organization or as a private citizen, and your direct phone number. Public comment is limited to three minutes. Each speaker providing oral public comments virtually must ensure their face is visible and their voice is audible while they are speaking. If you wish to provide a handout before the meeting, please submit in PDF format no later than 5:00 p.m. on February 10, 2025. Handouts are limited to three pages (one side per page). Handouts will be provided to SMMCAC members. Do not include health or other confidential information. Staff will not read handouts aloud during the meeting.
- Oral comments provided during the meeting: If time allows, members of the public may provide oral public comment during the meeting.
