
Jordan Dixon is the deputy executive commissioner for the Office of Transformation and Innovation. Prior to joining HHSC, Dixon served for four years as director of the Texas Senate Committee on Health and Human Services, where she led budget development and crafted the committee chairman’s legislative package.
In 2017, Dixon spearheaded efforts to identify inefficiencies and savings opportunities in health care across six state agencies. She previously served as the committee’s deputy director and senior policy analyst. Prior to serving in the Senate, Dixon worked for the National Association of State Budget Officers in Washington, D.C., as a policy associate focusing on health care and correctional policies.
Dixon has a Master of Public Policy from the George Washington University and a Bachelor of Art in Economics from Southwestern University. She is a graduate of the Governor’s Executive Development Program, a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt professional and a mentor in the HHS Executive Leadership Academy.
